Finke River Red Gum TR0918

Finke River, Tjoritja/West MacDonnell National Park, Northern Territory. Each time I visit the age-old Finke River, I like to re-connect with this delightful Red River Gum. River red gums are a riverine tree species that can grow to 45 metres (148 ft) in height. Although quite large, this specimen is still a mere child when viewed from this grand tree's potential lifespan of many hundreds of years.
