Bridled Nailtail Wallaby II

Bridled Nailtail Wallaby II WL188266

I had the opportunity to visit what is now an Australian Wildlife Conservancy property and spend time with my favourite macropod. The Bridled Nailtail Wallaby is a beautiful macropod that was believed to be extinct until a surviving population was found in 1973. AWC reintroduced a population to Scotia Wildlife Sanctuary in 2005 and the Pilliga in 2019.
