I had the chance to visit an Australian Wildlife Conservancy property and spend time with my favorite macropod. The Bridled Nailtail Wallaby is a beautiful macropod that was believed to be extinct until a surviving population was found in 1973. AWC reintroduced a population to Scotia Wildlife Sanctuary in 2005 and to the Pilliga in 2019.
