As a naturalist and artist, I strive to capture moments in time, like this spoonbill's preening contortions. In this instance, the initial capture of preening behaviour was driven more by the naturalist within. However, in this creative expression, I was inspired to play. I reside in a state of play where the 'artist within' takes over.
