The view of distant mountain ranges from Mount Hotham at twilight is among the most stunning landscapes in Australia. The Alpine National Park, situated in the Central Highlands and Alpine regions of Victoria, is the largest national park in the state. It encompasses a substantial part of the elevated areas of the Great Dividing Range, including Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest point at 1,986 meters (6,516 ft).
