The Red Kangaroo is the largest living marsupial in the world and is native to the arid zones of Australia. Males are orange-red, while females are blue-grey, with both having a lighter whitish color underneath. They prefer open plains and savanna woodlands and can be found throughout the semi-arid and arid regions of mainland Australia. Red Kangaroos primarily graze on grasses and can survive when water is scarce by consuming herbage and foliage. They live to around eight years in the wild. This handsome male is probably around two to three years of age.
