The Perry Sandhills, seen here fcovered in poached egg daisies, are located near Thegoa Lagoon. They are ancient Aboriginal cultural heritage areas with shifting sand dunes formed by wind erosion over thousands of years. Remains of giant mega-fauna have been found there, and the ongoing discovery of evidence of Aboriginal tribes using the area for camping and hunting keeps the intrigue alive.
