Docile and well suited to living near human dwellings, Australian green tree frogs are often found on window sills or inside houses, eating insects drawn by the light. This young green tree frog was one of many in my backyard during the summer wet season. It chose to 'ride high' on the head of a much larger adult; in this case, his 'ride' didn't seem to mind a bit. Of course, if he had picked the wrong companion, he might well have been eaten alive!
