The Queenslander II OC108534

Having owned and lived in a 124-year-old 'Queenslander' in Paddington, Brisbane, I do have an emotional connection with the architecture of these beautiful and efficient homes. This typical Queenslander-style residence differentiates Brisbane's suburbs from other regional towns and capital cities in the southern states, albeit the style is also found in northern New South Wales. Created in the 1840s and is still constructed today. This classic is a property near Maryvale on the southern Darling Downs, and each time I pass by, I record the changes in vegetation and the declining overall condition of the once-loved home.
