This beautiful coastal carpet python lived under my home in Brisbane for many months. At that time, we cared for possums and would release them into the wild. The python was patient during these new releases and sometimes caught one of the white-bellied sheath-tail bats that lived beneath our home in the dark crevices. Now residing more profoundly in the bush, we still find many pythons lurking close by; this time, they have chickens as their primary focus.
