Metamorphosis I AL05036

Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre National Park protects desert landscapes, the nation's largest salt lake and the lowest point on the mainland. When I first visited in April 2010, it was about seventy per cent full. I spent three days flying the region, and the experience has been the highlight of my 50 plus years photographing Australia.
