Throughout the Kimberly District, the boab tree is ever-present and, while travelling, I like to keep my eye wandering the landscape, searching for boab trees juxtaposed with landscapes, in other words, an example of this fabulous tree in a characteristic Kimberly landscape: a similar approach to river red gums in arid range landscapes.
This is one of my favourites; a distant escarpment creates a sense of place and the tree itself, simple gratitude!
