Marlgu Billabong is located in Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve northwest of Western Australia. This area is essential for waterbirds, as it offers a breeding and feeding ground. Additionally, it serves as a stopping point for migratory waders, which travel from as far as Siberia. I had the chance to spend a whole day from dawn to dusk in a bird hide at a low level, which allowed me to capture many stunning images of the birds inhabiting the lagoon.
