During the 1970s, I spent six years visiting and camping beside Wategos Beach in Cape Byron Conservation Park. Julian Rock, a renowned dive site on the horizon, was my main focus as an underwater photographer. Following my departure from the Navy, these weekend visits prompted me to re-evaluate my future. This particular image holds a special significance for me.
