The dusky shark is an apex predator found anywhere from coastal waters to the outer continental shelf and adjacent oceanic waters. It can reach a length of up to 4 meters and a weight of 350 kg. Its diet is diverse, consisting mainly of bony fish, sharks, rays, and cephalopods. Sharks were the first group of animals that caught my attention as a young underwater photographer. It is always a high point when one of these streamlined beauties suddenly appears out of the blue haze.
