Yuin Country FW08236

This large national park is the traditional Country of the Yuin people and extends south from the Southern Highlands east of Goulburn to the Shoalhaven and Clyde Coast regions west of Ulladulla. Its wet eucalypt forest, rainforest, and heathland protect gliders, long-nosed potoroos, swamp wallabies, satin bowerbirds, and even the endangered ground parrot. Cliffs plummet from escarpments into forested gullies watered by cascades, and you might even see a platypus in some of the still pools. This is Belmore Falls one of several accessible rainforest waterfalls in the area.
