This large national park, which is the traditional Country of the Yuin people, extends south from the Southern Highlands east of Goulburn to the Shoalhaven and Clyde Coast regions west of Ulladulla. Its wet eucalypt forest, rainforest, and heathland protect various species including gliders, long-nosed potoroos, swamp wallabies, satin bowerbirds, and even the endangered ground parrot. Cliffs drop from escarpments into forested gullies watered by cascades, and you might even see a platypus in some of the still pools. Belmore Falls is one of several accessible rainforest waterfalls in the area.
