A Lifelong Bond BI5757
Wedge-tailed eagles, the emblem of the Northern Territory, are not just the largest but also the most renowned Australian bird of prey. Their fascinating breeding process occurs from June to October, and they are monogamous, forming a lifelong bond. The male and female engage in mutual grooming during the breeding season and construct their nest together. In a unique display of parental care, the male sometimes takes over the incubation of the eggs.
