Lake Dove, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clari National Park, is one of Tasmania's most popular destinations. Once covered by glaciers, the region is studded with glacial features such as moraines, lakes and tarns. The forests are rich with ancient trees, including King Billy pine, pencil pine, celery top pine and myrtle beech. Quolls and Tasmanian devils roam the park, and visitors can also easily spot wombats, platypuses and echidnas.
