Grevillea georgiana is a stunning flowering plant in the family Proteaceae found only in inland areas of southwestern Western Australia. It is an upright, widely spreading shrub with deeply divided leaves, linear and sharply pointed end lobes, and delightful scarlet to bright reddish pink and cream-coloured flowers. Close up, it is a sheer wonder.
It was 72 years ago, at the age of seven, that I first got hooked on the sheer drama of nature. It's been a long time to be fully absorbed 24/7 in pursuing nature's highs! No drugs, no alcohol. Who needs artificial stimulants?
