Spectacular Horseshoe Falls at Mount Field National Park. The Park was founded in 1916, Tasmania's oldest national park. The area around Horseshoe and Russell Falls has been protected for their natural beauty since 1885. It was the last known wild sighting of a thylacine in 1933.
