Western Australia’s Nambung National Park’s pinnacle desert is a favoured site for galahs to carry out beak cleaning – rubbing their bills against the abrasive surface of the pinnacles. Some also as a great locality to burrow out a nest. Here a passing flock visits a mating pair who had already burrowed out their nest. Many inspections occurred before the flock continued on its way.
